Audit limits
Limits are explicit so users can tell the difference between a clean result and a result produced under bounded measurement.

Content analysis
Near-duplicate checks compare body text across the supplied page set, with additional sibling checks inside each template family. The same-page-with-a-different-name check uses a deterministic pair budget for very large template families.
Coverage depends on how the pair is discovered. Identical fingerprints and pages in the same template family are compared exhaustively at the 0.85 threshold. Across different template families, candidate banding guarantees discovery only from about 0.891 similarity upward; pairs between 0.85 and 0.891 may still be found, but are not guaranteed to be compared.
- Default near-duplicate threshold: 0.85.
- Default same-page pattern threshold: 0.95.
- Default same-page comparison budget: 250,000 pairs per template family.
What the thresholds mean
Thresholds are review mechanics, not search-engine penalties. They identify patterns that deserve a product decision before scale multiplies them.
